Exeter:   Communications

Exeter occupies a pivotal position in the region, being 1.5 hours by road from Bristol, 30 minutes from Plymouth and connecting up all the main arterial routes in the South West. Of the five outgoing rail links, the Intercity journey can take 2 hours 16 minutes to London and Birmingham and just over an hour to Bristol.

Exeter Airport was voted 'best UK airport' in 2001 and has the second best weather record in the country, having grown 50% in the last 10 years. It has scheduled services to Dublin, Belfast, the Channel Islands and Scilly Isles, and charter flights to Paris, Canada, Spain, Malta and Cyprus. Access is ideal for the city's centre and business parks.
